Kill Hannah's Performance
Another impressive performance by Kill HannaH last night, even though they were at the bottom of the bill and slightly out of their element, they still gave everything they had. As usual, they gave the crowd as much energy and feeling as they would have if everyone were there to see only them. Kill HannaH's performance was impressive enough to make a few people who had never even heard of them scream after every song and plan to buy their album online. There was even this one kid calling a friend before the show started, asking "do you know what 'k' 'h' stands for? or who that is?" I just whip around and say excitedly, but with a light "you don't know?" tone, "KILL HANNAH"! But as soon as they started playing, his eyes lit up and it was obvious in that instance that he wasn't ever going to forget those initials, or that name, ever again!
My sister and I went to get stuff signed and say hi after their set. I ended up buying 2 of their WUTS shirts (one for me, one for my sister!) and 2 sniper heart patches, which they signed with our ticket stubs over the few hours we talked. I told them I was their COL for MD and asked if it would be possible to get everyone together for a pic. Mat said, "that might be tough. but for the khk, we'll see what we can do"! I am happy to report that the guys pulled through! To be completely honest, I was amazed I didn't have security called. My sister and I did not leave them alone the entire night! If we weren't talking to one member, it was another. We even stole Elias for a few minutes to have a cigarette with him. He said he would early in the night, then disappeared for an hour or so. But we were determined to make an honest person out of him, which we did! So we just chilled outside for the time it took to have 2 cigarettes (he smokes Parliament Lights, for those interested!) and just hung out. We talked about the tour, the possibility of them coming back. They want to go back to the UK this spring! It does not mean it will happen, but they really want to. We also talked about having a label control your every move, but yeah, it was an amazing night! Everyone had a blast. I can't wait for it to happen again!
